Available Resources

Within this page you will find addresses and links to businesses that we know sell music books and other resources of interest to fiddlers. Please also note that the Email addresses included have been modified to make it more difficult for automated processes to extract the address from the page and use in spamming. This does require some manual interaction if you wish to use one of the links but this is a small price to pay to reduce the workload in the World servers. Over time we hope to include a database of tunes from the main tunebooks and examples of works on CD.

Scottish Irish Cape Breton/Maritimes Sessions or Other groups

Sheet Music

Where does one start? Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island (PEI), Breton, the list is seemingly endless. Two very good sources of tunebooks, one local and one in California as well as numerous in Scotland and other locations. Below you will find links to the first two, Celtic Southern Cross and Fiddlers Crossing. Each of the named tunebooks has an internal link to these sources, make a choice and zap to their homepage. Please let me know if the link comes up blank and if you use these sources to order music let them know where you heard about them (ie at the SSF website).
